"hacks" to find quick win (but anti-social) profit opportunities:
identify tax/corporate/contract/business-related laws in one jurisdiction that don't exist in yours
actions that other jurisdictions made illegal are often easy money (but anti-social)
ex. pyramid schemes are not illegal in some places
ex. politicians in the UK are forced to put their investments in a trust, but this doesn't apply in many other countries (in the US, many politicians are even protected AGAINST insider trading)
identify lawyers, economists or political philosophers complaining about how "X" is broken and should be replaced with "Y" (particularly re: market failures)
like above, but isn't illegal yet in your jurisdiction
ex. Henry George suggested land-value-taxes to fix rent-seeking behaviour; this suggests that being a landlord and amassing land is easy money (and it is)
identify a new unregulated market similar to an existing regulated market
like above, most regulations are there to stop easy-money-but-anti-social behaviour
ex. cryptocurrencies and related: it's like the stock market, but unregulated – there's a hundred years of regulations that don't apply to crypto to gain inspiration from, like pump-and-dump schemes
